My name is Susan, and I am a professional custom portrait photographer specializing in children, maternity, newborns and families. With a studio in Santa Monica, it gives me the freedom to do studio portraits as well as lifestyle/outdoor images.  My style is contemporary, yet timeless; fresh; and lighthearted. My goal is to give my clients an experience they will not forget. Capturing the essence of my subjects, and the emotions of the moment are what I live for. I love putting children (and adults) at ease, connecting with them and having fun in the process.

A trait passed down from my father, I am passionate about documenting and celebrating life through photographic images. And it's not just for the sake of documenting in itself, but rather to be able to capture the cherished, fleeting moments that pass so quickly. Babies and children change so fast! A newborn will even be noticably different at the age of one week from the age of three weeks. To me, the family photographs we hang on our walls and put in our albums are personalized art, and are priceless. Creating such beautiful keepsakes and memories for others motivates and inspires me.
